“If you want to reach your dream, you can’t give up. Even if every avenue looks like a dead end and you feel that you’ve exhausted every possibility, you haven’t. There are always other ways, other options, other opportunities. Even if you don’t see them right now, they are there. Don’t give up.”
John C. Maxwell, Put Your Dream to the Test

Supporting the Arts, One Task at a Time

I’m Peter Vantine, a freelance composer, pianist and music producer with over 15 years of experience in administrative roles for music, education, and nonprofit organizations. It has always discouraged me to see performing arts nonprofit leaders struggle to get to the next level, juggling several tasks that had nothing to do with their vision. So, I created ProArts Admin Services to specifically address these challenges. By combining the skills and expertise I have acquired, I am able to provide a high level of administrative, organizational and creative services for nonprofits in the performing arts while being able to communicate in musical terms—in the language of The Arts. You can learn more about my musical background by visiting my artist website and view my resume and business background on my LinkedIn profile.

Empowering Your Artistic Vision

I know what it’s like to get bogged down in the nitty-gritty of the business of managing a nonprofit when all you want is more time to be creative. All the behind-the-scenes details can overwhelm the creative flow, distracting you from the thing that only you can do—lead your organization in making music. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you, one-on-one, how ProArts Admin Services may be able to help you and your nonprofit get to the next step. It all starts with a free 30-minute introductory consultation to learn how ProArts can best meet your needs.

Not convinced yet? I totally understand. You need more data to make an informed decision. I would want that, too! Well, let’s take a moment to look at what I call the “Four Ts” of managing the business of music and how these four obstacles can get in the way of your creative ambitions.

The Four Ts

Time

Obstacle: You just don’t have enough time for your music, or to do the work necessary to successfully (and creatively) lead a group. By the time you’ve finished all the business work, you’re exhausted and the “creative spark” has been snuffed out.

Solution: ProArts will handle the daily business of your musical endeavors so you have more time available to be creative and focus on the things that only you can do – make music.

Tasks

Obstacle: You get overwhelmed by how much there is to do behind the scenes of a nonprofit performing arts organization. So many tasks to juggle and keep track of, but you didn’t plan on being a project manager, too!

Solution: ProArts will organize and streamline the various tasks that a nonprofit requires, to alleviate the stress that often comes from trying to manage everything on your own.

Training

Obstacle: Keeping up with the ever-changing knowledge about the many facets of the business side of running a nonprofit organization is exhausting. Navigating the numerous digital resources or learning the next new thing can be frustrating and time consuming.

Solution: ProArts will guide you through the various components of a nonprofit career taking the mystery out of the process. Custom step-by-step processes take the frustration out of the learning curve. As they say, “Knowledge is power!”

Trajectory

Obstacle: You need help to strategize, organize and manage your nonprofit’s goals, but don’t know where to start. Or you’ve started but don’t know how to get to the next level.

Solution: By consulting with you on your business strategy and goals, and organizing and managing the stuff you don’t want to deal with, ProArts will help pave the way for more opportunities for success.
